About Betabnova
Built in Eldoret. Designed for the Risks That Are Real Here.
Betabnova was founded to address a specific gap: sophisticated capital protection methodology, applied to the realities of the Kenyan financial landscape.
What We Do
What Betabnova Does — and for Whom
We are a specialist advisory firm. We do not manage investment portfolios, and we do not sell financial products.
Betabnova is a capital protection advisory practice established in Eldoret in 2016. We work with high-net-worth individuals, established family businesses, and institutional clients who have accumulated meaningful capital and want to ensure it remains intact across market cycles, generational transitions, and legal challenges. Our clients typically include successful entrepreneurs and property developers in the Rift Valley corridor, medical and legal professionals with concentrated practice equity, agricultural landowners managing succession across family lines, and corporate treasury officers seeking to protect operating reserves. We serve clients based primarily in Eldoret, Kitale, Nakuru, and Kisumu — cities where the accumulation of private wealth has outpaced the availability of locally competent protection advisory. Our practice does not extend to retail or mass-affluent segments; our structures require a minimum asset base to justify the design overhead, and we are direct about that boundary with every prospective client.
How We Work
How We Work — Process, Values, and What We Will Not Do
Our methodology is structured and sequential; we do not shortcut the risk audit to get to a recommendation faster.
Every Betabnova engagement follows a three-phase process. Phase one is a full risk audit: we analyse your complete asset picture, identify every significant exposure, and produce a prioritised risk register. Phase two is structural design: we propose specific legal, insurance, or holding arrangements matched precisely to the risks identified — not to a standard template. Phase three is implementation and ongoing review: we co-ordinate with your existing legal and tax advisors to put the structures in place, then schedule annual reviews to keep them current. Since 2016, this process has been applied across more than 200 client engagements, involving assets ranging from single-title property holdings to multi-entity business groups. What we do not do is equally important: we do not provide investment return projections, we do not execute or manage trades or portfolio positions, and we do not recommend structures that benefit referral partners over the client. The slate-professional standard of our practice means we operate in the background, protecting the foundation so that your other advisors can focus on growth. We are also transparent about the limits of protection: no structure eliminates all risk, and outcomes involving court proceedings, regulatory changes, or macroeconomic shocks always carry uncertainty that sits outside our control.
